Does Acclaim D3O have ISOFIX?
No. Acclaim D3O is not ISOFIX compatible. It is installed using the vehicle's lap-sash seatbelt together with the top tether strap. ISOFIX is not permitted under AS/NZS 1754 for this category of child restraint.
Does Acclaim D3O have breathable fabric?
Yes. Acclaim D3O features CaféTek™ performance fabric, designed to help manage moisture and odour for a fresher, more comfortable ride, particularly on longer journeys.
Is the Acclaim D3O cover machine washable?
Yes. The Acclaim D3O cover can be removed using the convenient press-stud system without uninstalling the child restraint. Machine wash on a cool, gentle cycle and line dry only. Always refer to the product manual for complete care instructions.
Is Acclaim D3O suitable for three-across installations?
Acclaim D3O's narrow design can make it a practical option for some three-across configurations. However, suitability will depend on your vehicle, the other child restraints installed and the space available for your child to correctly buckle and unbuckle the vehicle seatbelt.
When installing multiple child restraints side by side, always ensure each restraint can be correctly installed and operated without interfering with the adjacent restraint or seatbelt buckle.
Can I install Acclaim D3O with a lap-only seatbelt?
No. Acclaim D3O requires a seating position fitted with a full lap-sash seatbelt and an appropriate top tether anchorage point. It must not be used with a lap-only seatbelt.
What is the weight limit for Acclaim D3O?
Acclaim D3O does not use a child's weight to determine suitability. Australian child restraints certified to AS/NZS 1754 use shoulder height markers to help determine when a child is appropriately positioned for the restraint.
Always refer to the shoulder height markers on the seat and the product instructions when determining whether Acclaim D3O is suitable for your child.
Can I use a different or replacement cover on Acclaim D3O?
Only an approved replacement cover designed specifically for the Acclaim D3O should be used. Do not use third-party or alternative covers that have not been approved for this model, as the cover forms part of the child restraint.

Do I have to use the top tether strap?
Yes. The Acclaim D3O must always be installed and used with the top tether strap correctly attached to an appropriate vehicle anchorage point, regardless of your child's age or the vehicle in which the restraint is installed.
Always follow the installation instructions supplied with the child restraint.
How long can my child use Acclaim D3O?
Acclaim D3O is a Type F Booster Seat designed for children approximately 4 to 10 years of age*. Its extra-tall design supports children up to a 57 cm seated shoulder height, helping them remain appropriately supported in a booster for longer.
Your child should continue using the booster until they reach the upper shoulder height marker and can achieve an appropriate fit using the vehicle's adult lap-sash seatbelt. Age is a guide only; always follow the shoulder height markers and product instructions.
