InfaSecure Pilot is a convertible car seat designed for use from newborn to approximately four years. It has been created to combine advanced impact-protection materials with practical features intended to make installation, adjustment and everyday family travel more intuitive. 

D3O impact protection 

Pilot incorporates D3O®, a responsive material technology used in impact-protection applications. Its distinctive orange appearance gives parents a visible connection to the technology integrated beneath the seat’s fabric. 

From the first journey 

Pilot is designed with low-birth-weight capability and an auto-adjust harness to support its earliest configuration. As with any newborn restraint, the seat must be appropriate for the individual baby and used exactly according to its instructions. 

EasyGuide seatbelt path 

The EasyGuide™ path is designed to make the vehicle-belt route clearer during installation. Pilot still requires the installer to follow both the restraint and vehicle manuals, remove slack and attach the tether correctly. 

Single-Sided Top Tether 

Pilot’s patent-pending Single-Sided Top Tether is intended to make access more practical when placing a child into the restraint. The tether remains a critical part of the installation and must be attached to the correct anchorage. 

Compact family fit 

Pilot’s compact profile has been developed with family vehicles and potential three-across configurations in mind. Compatibility varies, so the complete arrangement should be tested in the intended vehicle.
