Our Sustainability Promise

Our Sustainability Promise

Infa Group is a 4th Generation, 100% Australian owned and operated family business with over 65 years of experience in juvenile products. We are market leaders in Australia & New Zealand, with an experienced team of designers, engineers, manufacturers, and marketing experts.

Although sustainable practices have always been at the centre of what we do, including the suppliers we work with to the materials we choose, we know we can do better. We’re not quite there yet, but we’re committed to improving our footprint on the world.

Our Journey So Far

Packaging

To date, more than half of the child restraints we manufacture utilise Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified packaging, made from sustainably sourced materials, making these boxes re-usable and recyclable.

Extended Use Products

Infa Group innovated Australia’s first Type A2/B/E Convertible Car Seat and Type A4/G Convertible Child Restraint, both suitable from Birth to 8 Years.

The Type A2/B/E is designed of offer 3 Mode of use: Rearward Facing (until approx. 12 Months), Forward Facing with an inbuilt harness (until approx. 4 Years) and then Forward Facing as a Booster Seat with the vehicles lap & sash seatbelt (until approx. 8 Years).

The Type A4/G is designed to offer Extended Rearward Facing and Extended Harnessing in Forward Facing Mode.

Both Convertible Child Restraints decreases the need for multiple restraints throughout the mandated Child Restraint years, resulting in less Child Restraints ending up in landfill.

Recycled Materials

Recycled Plastics

Approximately 30% of the plastics used in our Child Restraint shells can be attributed to “Regrind Plastic”. Plastic regrind is the granular or palletized form of recycled plastic resin. Using regrind is a great way to optimize material usage, and reduce demand on natural resources.
