What age is Pilot for? 

Pilot is a convertible child restraint designed for newborn to approximately four years. Age descriptions are a guide; always use the product’s shoulder-height markers, approved configuration and instructions. 

Can Pilot be used from birth? 

Pilot is designed for newborn use and includes low-birth-weight capability. Individual fit matters, especially for premature or medically vulnerable babies, so seek appropriate professional advice where required. 

What is D3O? 

D3O is a specialist impact-protection material technology integrated into Pilot as part of its complete protective design. It is not a substitute for correct installation or harness adjustment. 

Is Pilot an ISOFIX seat? 

Follow the current Pilot product specification and manual for its approved installation method. Pilot’s EasyGuide™ feature relates to its vehicle-seatbelt path. Never use an installation method not permitted by the instructions. 

Will Pilot fit my car? 

No restraint can be assumed to fit every vehicle. Pilot has a compact profile, but the seating position, rearward-facing depth, tether anchorage and other passengers must be checked. 

Can Pilot fit three across? 

Pilot has been designed with compact and potential three-across configurations in mind. The result depends on the vehicle and the full combination of restraints. Arrange a trial or professional fitting. 

How does the top tether work? 

Pilot includes a patent-pending Single-Sided Top Tether designed for practical access. It must still be connected to the correct vehicle anchorage and tightened according to the instructions. 

How should Pilot be cleaned?
