Road Safety Week 2025: Drive So Others Survive

Every year, approximately 1,200 people lose their lives and over 40,000 others are seriously injured on Australian roads. Tragically, traffic injury remains the leading cause of death for Australian children under 15, and the second biggest killer of young Australians aged 15 to 24. These aren’t just statistics — they’re children, parents, siblings, and friends whose lives are changed forever.

Road Safety Week 2025 is a powerful reminder that these numbers are not just heartbreaking — they are preventable. This year’s message, Drive So Others Survive, calls on all Australians to reflect on their driving behaviours and commit to safer roads for everyone.

Our Role in Protecting the Most Vulnerable

At InfaSecure, keeping children safe while travelling is more than a mission — it’s at the heart of everything we do.

As a proudly Australian-owned and operated family business, we’ve spent decades working to protect the lives of young passengers. We believe that every child deserves the highest level of safety, no matter where they live or what their family circumstances may be.

Innovation Backed by Experience

We combine engineering excellence with real-world parenting insights to create safe, stylish, and affordable child restraints. Our team of experts work with the most respected third-party testing laboratories, and we’re proud to have introduced many Australian firsts to the market, including:

  • The first 0 to 4 year compact convertible car seat
  • The first Type G restraint, allowing harness use up to 8 years old
  • And most recently, the first Type A4/G restraint for extended rearward- and forward-facing protection

Each product we develop is designed with one goal in mind: to reduce preventable injuries and fatalities on our roads.

Safety Through Education

Innovation alone isn’t enough. That’s why we’re also passionate about educating parents and carers about best practices when it comes to child car safety. We provide resources, expert advice, and support because we know that understanding how to properly install and use a car seat can mean the difference between life and death in a crash.

A Shared Responsibility

As we mark Road Safety Week 2025, we urge every driver to take a moment and ask: Am I doing everything I can to keep others safe?

At InfaSecure, we’re doing our part — by constantly improving our products, supporting Aussie families, and advocating for safer roads. But road safety is a shared responsibility, and together, we can change these statistics.

Let’s Drive So Others Survive, and make every journey a safe one — especially for our children.
